Gloria is a former teacher who graduated from the Toronto Teacher’s College. Gloria taught for three years and subsequently stayed home to raise her three children. Gloria subsequently completed a bookkeeping program through Granton Institute of Technology.
In the past, Gloria has worked as a bookkeeper for the Federal Government, Star Transfer and then for a law firm for over 3o years.
Gloria has extensive knowledge and a wealth of bookkeeping experience going back some 4 decades. She is proficient with PC Law, QuickBooks and Leap Legal software which is cloud-based. Since October 2020, Gloria has mastered the art of a paperless bookkeeping practice. Gloria has worked with Jay for over 25 years and has been a long-standing loyal and dedicated hard working member of the team.
Gloria is known as the Laverne at the office from the Laverne & Shirley sitcom. Like the character in the old sitcom, Gloria brings a great deal of spirit to the office and to the firm retreats. She brings much laughter to the table and stood out by winning the MVP award at our firm retreat at the Paradisus Grand Cana Resort in Punta Cana.
In her spare time, Gloria enjoys spending time with her family, her six grandchildren, gardening, reading, and word games. Gloria and her husband enjoy traveling, but she particularly loves to go visit her home country of Scotland.
