Hayden Bedard

On June 27, 2022, Hayden joined Team Meunier Carrier as a full-time summer employee in the role of Legal Assistant.  During the school year Hayden works part-time after school and on weekends.

Hayden is currently a Grade 12 student at Timmins High and Vocational School.

During the school calendar 2021-2022 year, Hayden served as the Grade 10 student council representative, coordinated with the student vote subcommittee for the 2022 Ontario general election, and worked with the Timmins High Historical Society as a co-secretary.

Hayden is recognized on the principal’s honour roll year after year. He has a keen interest in English literature, world studies, humanities, and social sciences.

In addition to his extra-curricular activities at Timmins High and Vocational School, Hayden served as the student trustee for the District School Board Ontario North-East Board of Directors for the 2022-2023 school year. Hayden took part in the Ontario Student Trustee Association’s Annual General Meeting in May 2022. At the said AGM, Hayden had the opportunity to network with other student trustees from around the province, meet the executive councils for both the Public Board Council and the Catholic Board Council, and attend workshops to prepare him for his role as student trustee.

Hayden plans to pursue an Honours Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science with a minor in European Literature and Culture. Furthermore, Hayden intends to attend law school after completing his undergraduate degree.

At Meunier Carrier Lawyers, Hayden supports the team in conducting client intakes, requesting and overseeing pre- and post- examination for discovery undertakings, billings, and drafting executive summaries. Hayden observes court appearances and examinations for discovery and also participates in firm huddles and in-house office training sessions.
